AlphaVu Deploys New AI-Powered Technology in DataVu™

AlphaVu’s newest update to the DataVu™ platform offers clients two new modules that use the latest advancements in artificial intelligence. In April 2024, the US Patent and Trademark office issued AlphaVu with a patent for its predictive algorithms and methods to analyze sentiment and detect misinformation. The algorithms now feed the AI systems behind DataVu that measure customer satisfaction, public sentiment, and voter opinion.

Two new DataVu modules, Ask Your Data and Ask Your Community, tap into this technology to allow AlphaVu clients to quickly and easily explore insights from company data and public data.

Ask Your Community

This module allows you to create survey questions that you can send to virtual voters and demographic groups.

Organizations use in-person, intercept style surveys to gain demographic data, customer feedback, and community input directly from their constituents. AlphaVu recognized that these surveys take weeks or months to complete and can be costly investments for agencies.

Ask Your Community uses Large Language Models to produce virtual survey results every 24 hours. This means you get estimates of voter opinion and customer satisfaction every day of the week.

The module allows users to create a survey instrument (including questions and a list of response choices), select a specific audience based on publicly available voter and demographic data, then launch that question virtually to those audiences. Since this survey uses computer-generated personas rather than actual in-person respondents, the survey results are processed and tabulated within 24 hours.

And, the survey continually runs to the selected personas you’ve created, so you can see how your survey results change with different conditions, including the latest measurements to your brand reputation and other important topics that you’re tracking.

Ask Your Data

This module allows you to interact with your data by asking natural language questions.

Currently, our clients access insights on relevant topics and brand sentiment through custom reports produced by data analysts along with dashboards published on DataVu.

Ask Your Data allows clients to build on these insights by creating a chat dialogue with their data. Similar to other leading chat-based AI tools, clients can submit their questions in the Ask Your Data module and receive quick responses from the AI assistant.

For instance, if you noticed a spike or a dip in social engagement on your DataVu dashboard, open up the Ask Your Data assistant and ask it to show you the reason for the change in engagement. The assistant will send you a conversational reply with an explanation.

You can use the tool to create visuals, such as asking for a chart that shows your change in engagement over the last six months. These visuals can be valuable resources to use when you are reporting updates to your community engagement and communications staff, and you can share them with your agency’s executive leadership to keep all your stakeholders updated on your agency’s reputation.

The platform also can give you content ideas for your social media channels based on the directions you provide. And, there are many other capabilities of the platform that AlphaVu is excited to share with you.

About the Modules

Both Ask Your Community and Ask Your Data are available exclusively for AlphaVu clients through the DataVu platform. Options are available for both of these modules that allow agencies to scale the number of users, data sets, and virtual survey questions. Our team can provide clients with custom solutions to help them meet their specific business needs.

AlphaVu helps those who build for the public good, and we’ve designed these enhancements to DataVu to support agencies in achieving their mission.
